Sea wolves (or coastal wolves) are an amazing subspecies of the gray wolf that live in the Great Bear Rainforest on the Pacific Coast of British Columbia. A significant part of their diet is fish, and so these beautiful wolves have learned to swim in their coastal waters.
This needle felted sea wolf was created using the process of needle felting and is made of 100% wool. She was meticulously built, layer upon layer, using a variety of greys and white for her body, and black and amber for her eyes. She was then detailed with greens, blues, and yellow to create the rockweed and water image she bears on her side.
This sea wolf measures 5″ high and is 6″ long. She stands freely and contains no armatures of any kind.
