As we settle into 2023, I'm reflecting on all of the transitions we have moved through in our family and as a small business this past year. 2022 was a bumpy ride for sure; but here we are on the other side with fresh eyes and an open heart. This weekend I was in our home studio, and I got out my old Grey Fox Felting sign that I had painted a number of years back to travel with me to various craft shows. I decided to give it a fresh coat of paint. Paying homage to our first workshop space that we vacated last year, I painted the sign in the same color we painted the walls of that space when we moved in about four years ago. The color is called Antemeridian, a word that by definition means 'before noon.' Morning. A time of light. New perspectives. Possibility. So as I set my intentions for 2023, here is what I hope to offer you this year:
- I aim to update this blog more regularly with helpful tips and insights into my needle felting process.
- I'd like to release 2 new felting kits this year.
- I'd like to return to regular workshop offerings.
May your 2023 be a peaceful one filled with possibility.
