Harvest Festival at Thomas Cole Site - 10/19/25

Grey Fox Felting will be at this year's Harvest Festival at the Thomas Cole National Historic House in Catskill, NY. We'll have kits and felting supplies, and a few felted goodies! And Erin will be demonstrating the needle felting process for anyone who'd like to learn what it's all about.

Needle Felted Fall Meadow Workshop at Love & Stitches - 11/1/25 

In this workshop, Erin will introduce participants to the wonderfully satisfying process of needle felting as they are guided step-by-step in creating a 2D fall flower meadow. 

The process of needle felting involves using a special barbed needle to make repeated pokes into fluffy wool fiber, causing the fibers to tangle and mat together, forming felt. Participants will create a fall-inspired flower meadow by felting tiny bits of colored wool onto a sheet of wool felt. Finished pieces will then be framed in a  4" wood embroidery frame, ready for hanging! All materials will be provided.

In this workshop, Erin will introduce participants to the wonderfully satisfying process of needle felting as they are guided step-by-step in creating an adorable festive cat. 

The process of needle felting involves using a special barbed needle to make repeated pokes into fluffy wool fiber, causing the fibers to tangle and mat together, forming felt. Participants will create a sculptural cat wearing a holiday headpiece of leaves and berries. All materials will be provided.

The process of needle felting involves using a special barbed needle to make repeated pokes into fluffy wool fiber, causing the fibers to tangle and mat together, forming felt. Participants will create a sculptural fox wearing a cozy sweater. All materials will be provided.

Needle Felted Sweater Bear Workshop at CeCe's Wool - 11/22/25 

In this workshop, Erin will introduce participants to the wonderfully satisfying process of needle felting as they are guided step-by-step in creating an adorable bear all dressed for the coming cold in a cozy sweater! 

Needle felting is a very forgiving and meditative art form that involves using a special barbed needle to make repeated pokes into fluffy wool fiber. This action causes the fibers to tangle and mat together, forming felt. Participants will create a sculptural polar bear wearing a sweater, and every creation will be unique! All materials are included with registration.

Needle Felted Tiger Workshop at Fenimore Art Museum - 12/6/25 

In celebration of the Exploring Calvin and Hobbes exhibit at Fenimore Art Museum this season, Erin will be leading a tiger-themed needle felting workshop! In this class, participants will learn all about the wonderfully satisfying process of needle felting as they are guided step-by-step in creating an adorable three-dimensional portrait of a tiger out of wool. 

The process of needle felting involves using a special barbed needle to make repeated pokes into fluffy wool fiber, causing the fibers to tangle and mat together, forming felt. Participants will create a sculptural portrait of a tiger which will then be felted directly onto a sheet of wool felt and finished with a 4" wood embroidery frame. All materials will be provided.
