Pop-up Shop at Nourish in Ballston Spa - 8/16/25 

Grey Fox Felting popping up at Nourish for the day! This shop is so warm and welcoming, and it's filled with lovely items that make great gifts for all ages. Come and chat with us about needle felting while you browse Nourish. We'll have our felting kits, a selection of needle felting supplies, and some original work available. We hope to see you there!

Online Needle Felted Llama Workshop - 8/23/25

In this online workshop, Erin Gardner of Grey Fox Felting will introduce participants to the wonderfully satisfying process of needle felting as they are guided step-by-step in creating an adorable llama.

The process of needle felting involves using a special barbed needle to make repeated pokes into fluffy wool fiber, causing the fibers to tangle and mat together, forming felt. Participants will create a sculptural llama wearing a colorful felt blanket. 

Class will take place over zoom, and a recording will be available after the class concludes for anyone wishing to complete the project at their own convenience.

Needle Felted Fall Meadow Scene Workshop - 9/7/25 

In this workshop, Erin will introduce participants to the wonderfully satisfying process of needle felting as they are guided step-by-step in creating a two-dimensional fall-inspired meadow scene out of wool.

The process of needle felting involves using a special barbed needle to make repeated pokes into fluffy wool fiber, causing the fibers to tangle and mat together, forming felt. Participants will create a meadow out of tiny bits of colorful wool, using a sheet of wool felt as the canvas. Pieces will be framed inside a 4" wood embroidery frame, ready to hang and enjoy! All materials are included with registration.

Needle Felted Tiger Workshop at Fenimore Art Museum - 9/20/25 

In celebration of the Exploring Calvin and Hobbes exhibit at Fenimore Art Museum this fall, Erin will be leading a tiger-themed needle felting workshop! In this class, participants will learn all about the wonderfully satisfying process of needle felting as they are guided step-by-step in creating an adorable three-dimensional portrait of a tiger out of wool. 

The process of needle felting involves using a special barbed needle to make repeated pokes into fluffy wool fiber, causing the fibers to tangle and mat together, forming felt. Participants will create a sculptural portrait of a tiger which will then be felted directly onto a sheet of wool felt and finished with a 4" wood embroidery frame. All materials will be provided.

Needle Felted Holiday Cat Workshop at Thomas Cole Site - 11/8/25 

In this workshop, Erin will introduce participants to the wonderfully satisfying process of needle felting as they are guided step-by-step in creating an adorable festive cat. 

The process of needle felting involves using a special barbed needle to make repeated pokes into fluffy wool fiber, causing the fibers to tangle and mat together, forming felt. Participants will create a sculptural cat wearing a holiday headpiece of leaves and berries. All materials will be provided.
