Needle Felted Grape Hyacinth Workshop - 5/20/25

Join Erin in creating your own needle felted grape hyacinth flower!

In this beginner-friendly workshop, you will learn the basics of needle felting onto a two-dimensional surface in a supportive and relaxing environment. This lovely flower will be felted in a relief style, which means that parts of the flower will be more three-dimensional and stand out a bit from our felt "canvas" while the stem and leaves will be felted in a more two-dimensional, flat style. Erin will guide you each step of the way as you learn to transform these beautiful fluffy bits of wool into your own unique flower. We will complete our projects by framing them in wood oval embroidery hoops. 

When: Tuesday, May 20, 6-8:30 pm EST

Where: Live Zoom Session*

*The workshop will be recorded for those wishing to take the class and unable to attend the live zoom. If you'd like to receive a recording, please leave me a note at checkout, and I'll send you the link as soon as the live session is complete. The recording will remain available for 2 months.

Below is the materials list. If you select the option for the class + kit, the following supplies will be mailed to you.

• colored wool (leaves - dark green + lighter green; flowers - 4 gradient shades of blue/ blue-violet)
• wool felt sheet in white (minimum size 6" x 8")
• 2 #38 Triangle felting needles
• felting mat (min. size 5" x 6" x 1.5" - foam mat of this size included in kit)
• 4" x 6" oval embroidery hoop

Additional supplies needed (these are NOT included in materials kit):

• scissors
• craft glue
• backing material if desired (can be paper or fabric)
