Snowfall - Carded Corriedale Sliver for Needle Felting, Wet Felting, Spinning, Weaving - 1 oz.

This listing is for 1 oz. of Snowfall white carded corriedale wool sliver. I would describe this this as something between roving and batting. Like roving, it comes in a rope-like strip. But while roving fibers are mostly aligned, the fibers in this sliver are only partially aligned while many are going in different directions; this makes it very easy to tear off pieces to work with, similarly to how you can pull apart wool batting.
The micron count is 25-30 mic.

Meet Snowfall, a beautiful bright white, perfect for winter scenes and snowmen. This carded corriedale wool is very fluffy and soft to the touch, with excellent crimp for needle felting. It felts very quickly and easily.

For your reference, the batt in the photo is 1 ounce.
